Every time I go to the horse track and hear those words it’s like a shot of adrenaline running through my blood.

Hi Folks … my name is Lee and I’m a veterinarian who practices and lives in Florida and “THIS” is my blog.

Oh BTW, everyone just calls me “Doc” so it’s OK if you do too.
Here’s one of my better photos I thought I’d share with you.
Damn I’m Handsome … It was a good hair day

Nice Hair Day

In the fifty some odd years that I have been on this planet I have come to realize that “Life Should Be Simple.”. I also came to realize that most of what we think we need is really just things we want. Hey don’t get me wrong … I think I need a lot of things, but when I really sit down and think about it, it’s really not something I can’t live without after all.

So … what does all that have to do with a website called The Latitudes?

The Latitudes is a frame of mind, a way of thinking, a mindset and approach to life that simply makes sense in a very simplistic way. I’m going to share it with you because, to be quite honest with you, there’s ” a lot ” of really messed up people out there in this world who just may like what I have to say. Now please don’t take this wrong because I’ve made so many mistakes in my life I own the Book Rights and the T-Shirt Shop to prove it. However, I did learn a thing or two along the way and I hope that someone can benefit from my mistakes as well as from some of my successes.

There is no magic secret formula. I didn’t get it from a self help book either ( not that there’s anything wrong with them, I’ve read plenty ). It’s just basic “common sense” ideas that apply more today than ever before.

What’s that old saying …
“Common Sense Isn’t All That Common Any More”

So with that being said … tomorrow we’ll tackle the meaning behind The Latitudes and see exactly what that means to me. You want to know something … I think you’ll see a little bit of yourself in there as well.

So the journey of change has begun. I hope you enjoy the ride …

Keep Looking Up,
~ Doc ~

BTW … you’re going to see a lot of ( …’s ) on my site. Just ignore them. We’ll just refer to that as the short version, OK?
