Bravo Supreme Court … Well Done

26 Jun 2008 In: all

“The inherent right of self-defense has been central to the Second Amendment right…”

Second Amemndment preserved.  Everyone should be proud of our Judicial System.  This is a victory for our country as we know it.

Changing the Theme …

5 May 2008 In: all

I had to change the theme because I found out that the original theme wasn’t easy to read. For an old coot like myself … that sucks. So new theme = new posting style. See ya soon.

And They’re Off …

1 May 2008 In: all, animals, fun, sustainability

Every time I go to the horse track and hear those words it’s like a shot of adrenaline running through my blood.

Hi Folks … my name is Lee and I’m a veterinarian who practices and lives in Florida and “THIS” is my blog.

Oh BTW, everyone just calls me “Doc” so it’s OK if you do too.
Here’s one of my better photos I thought I’d share with you.
Damn I’m Handsome … It was a good hair day

Nice Hair Day

In the fifty some odd years that I have been on this planet I have come to realize that “Life Should Be Simple.”. I also came to realize that most of what we think we need is really just things we want. Hey don’t get me wrong … I think I need a lot of things, but when I really sit down and think about it, it’s really not something I can’t live without after all.

So … what does all that have to do with a website called The Latitudes?

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!

If you have already stumbled upon us … Welcome and please sign up for our RSS feed on FeedBurner.  We’re going to get this thing started very soon.   I just have a few “housekeeping” items to attend to and then we’ll begin.

It’s gong to be fun.  Stick around and find out for yourself.  ;-)

As customary I never remove the “Hello World” First Message that installs with Wordpress.   It’s bad luck to do that.  So here it is … I’ve just added a quick note here for everyone to know that we’re getting close.

See ya soon … Oh BTW … Did I mention fun???

"A Simplistic Approach to Living"

By Definition : Latitude ( lăt'ĭ-tūd' )
Freedom from normal restraints, limitations, or regulations. Ability to exercise judgment within a range of authority without outside interference. Freedom or room to move.

... or ...

The angular distance north or south from the equator of a point on the earth's surface, measured on the meridian of the point. Fancy way of saying it helps you find where you are.

I "LIKE" that definition ...
